Thu Mar 13 18:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Jana Sena Party Celebrates 13th Anniversary with Grand Rally in Chitrada

**Pithapuram, Andhra Pradesh, March 13, 2025** – Jana Sena Party (JSP), led by actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan, is celebrating its 13th anniversary with a massive rally in Chitrada, Pithapuram constituency. This marks the party’s first major victory celebration since Kalyan’s election as an MLA and subsequent appointment as Deputy Chief Minister.

Founded on March 14, 2014, the JSP initially focused on Andhra Pradesh after the state’s bifurcation. While the party faced setbacks in the 2019 elections, winning only one seat, its alliance with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and BJP in the 2024 elections yielded significant gains. Kalyan secured a resounding victory in Pithapuram, and the party won a total of 21 assembly seats and two MP seats. This victory brought JSP into the ruling NDA coalition government.

The rally, dubbed the “Jayaketana Sabha,” is expected to draw large crowds, including JSP leaders from Telangana. The venue in Chitrada has been elaborately prepared to accommodate 250 attendees on the main stage, and drone surveillance is in place. The party is emphasizing its significant presence in the East Godavari district, a region considered crucial to its support base.

Kalyan’s political journey has been marked by both successes and criticisms. His alliance with TDP and BJP, and more recently his focus on ‘Sanatana Dharma,’ have drawn both support and controversy. Regardless, his political moves consistently generate significant media attention. The 13th-anniversary celebration marks a significant milestone for the JSP, signifying its consolidation of power within the state government.
