**Palakkad, Kerala, March 14, 2025** – A one-year-old child from the Attappady tribal community in Palakkad district passed away at the Government Medical College Hospital in Thrissur on Friday. Rithin, son of Ajitha and Rajesh from Veettiyoor, Thavalam, initially presented with fever and dyspepsia at the Government Taluk Tribal Speciality Hospital, Kottathara. His condition deteriorated, leading to his transfer to Thrissur on March 9th. Despite treatment, he succumbed to his illness on Friday afternoon. The cause of death is not specified in the report.
