Thu Mar 13 04:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Hard-Hit Hardcore Band Zulu’s Future Uncertain Amidst Abuse Allegations and Tour Cancellations

**Los Angeles, CA –** Hardcore band Zulu is facing an uncertain future following a week of turmoil stemming from abuse allegations against frontman Anaiah Rasheed Muhammad. The band, currently on hiatus, has seen their Latin American tour cancelled, social media presence altered, and the future of their upcoming Warped Tour and Refused tour appearances thrown into doubt.

The controversy began last week with the surfacing of abuse allegations against Muhammad while the band was touring Latin America. Despite the allegations, Zulu performed at NDP Fest in São Paulo, Brazil on March 8th as a four-piece, with guitarist Dez Yousef handling vocal duties. While Muhammad subsequently addressed the allegations, the band’s Instagram account mysteriously unfollowed him.

The fallout continued with the cancellation of the remaining Latin American tour dates by promoters. Adding to the confusion, Zulu scrubbed mentions of their Warped Tour and Refused tour appearances from their social media. Although currently still listed on lineups, their participation remains highly uncertain.

Neither Zulu nor their label, Flatspot Records, have issued an official statement regarding the allegations or the band’s future. The band’s silence, coupled with the recent events, has fueled widespread speculation among fans that Zulu may have disbanded.
