**Dhar, Madhya Pradesh –** Seven people died and three were injured in a collision involving a gas tanker and two four-wheelers in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh, on Wednesday night. Police reported that the accident occurred around 11 p.m. on the Badnawar-Ujjain highway near Bamansuta village. The tanker, traveling in the wrong direction, struck a car and a jeep head-on.

Four individuals perished at the scene, while three others succumbed to their injuries later at a hospital in neighboring Ratlam district. The injured are receiving treatment. Local residents assisted in the rescue operation, helping to extract trapped individuals from the wreckage with the aid of a crane.

The victims hailed from Ratlam and Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh, and Jodhpur in Rajasthan. The gas tanker driver fled the scene following the accident and remains at large. A police investigation is underway.
