Trask, a 27-year-old entering his fourth NFL season, was originally drafted by the Buccaneers in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. While he has yet to make a start, he provides valuable experience as the team’s primary backup. Michael Pratt is the only other quarterback currently under contract with the team.
