**Los Angeles, CA** – Mobile gaming giant Scopely has acquired Niantic’s gaming division in a landmark $3.5 billion deal, significantly altering the mobile gaming landscape. The acquisition brings popular titles like Pokémon Go, Pikmin Bloom, and Monster Hunter Now under Scopely’s umbrella.

Scopely, known for hits like Monopoly Go! and Marvel Strike Force, will also inherit Niantic’s companion apps, Campfire and Wayfarer. Niantic’s gaming division boasts over 30 million monthly active players and generated over $1 billion in revenue in 2024.
