
Wed Mar 12 09:56:20 UTC 2025: ## CSIR UGC NET December 2024 Provisional Answer Key Released; Challenges Accepted
**New Delhi, March 10, 2025** – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key and question papers for the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 examination, held from February 28th to March 2nd, 2025. Nearly 238,451 candidates who appeared for the computer-based test (CBT) across 326 centres in 164 cities can now download the key from the official NTA website.
Candidates who disagree with any answer provided in the key have until March 14th, 11:50 PM, to challenge it. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 7,200 per challenged question must be paid online via credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. NTA will not consider challenges without receipt of this fee.
The final CSIR UGC NET results will be based on the revised answer key, following the review of submitted challenges. Individual candidates will not be notified of the outcome of their challenges; the expert-determined final key will be definitive.
The Joint CSIR-UGC NET examination determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowships, assistant professor positions, and PhD admissions in Indian universities and colleges across a wide range of science and technology disciplines, including oceanography, biotechnology, and information technology.
