**Guwahati, Assam – March 12, 2025** – The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) Assam today released the results of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for various constable positions within the Assam Police. The results, announced at 11:00 AM, are available on the SLPRB official website, slprbassam.in.
Thousands of candidates who participated in the PET can now check their results using the direct link provided on the website. The results include those for a wide range of positions, including:
* 1645 Constable (UB)
* 2300 Constable (AB)
* 114 Constable (UB) backlog posts (Hills Tribe category)
* 1 Constable (AB) backlog post (Hills Tribe category)
* 58 Boatman positions
* Various Constable (Communication) and Constable (Carpenter) positions in the APRO
* 39 Emergency Rescuer positions (Fire & Emergency Services)
* 269 Constable (Grade-III) positions (DGCD & CGHG)
* 5 Havildar positions (DGCD & CGHG)
Cut-off marks for Constable (UB), Havildar, and Driver positions have also been released on the website. The merit list is based on PET scores (excluding extracurricular activity marks). Specific scoring details for male and female candidates in the Armed Branch (AB) are outlined on the SLPRB website.
Candidates who passed the PET will proceed to the written test, which will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (worth 0.5 marks each) based on class IX and X level material. There is no negative marking. Further details regarding the written test, including dates and venues, will be announced soon. Successful candidates will then undergo a driving test (skill test) and a thorough medical examination before final appointment.
The SLPRB has emphasized that passing the PET and PST does not guarantee participation in the written test. Candidates must successfully complete all stages of the recruitment process to be considered for appointment.
