**Kalaburagi, Karnataka – March 12, 2025** – A 45-year-old shepherd, Ningappa Pujari Haranoor, was injured in a leopard attack on Tuesday in Ravnoor village, Jewargi taluk, Kalaburagi district. The incident occurred while Mr. Haranoor was grazing his livestock in an agricultural field.
He was immediately transported to a hospital for treatment. Forest Department officials have collected blood samples from the victim for examination and formed teams to capture the leopard. Jewargi Police have registered a case related to the attack.
