**Northumberland, England –** Six lucky North East postcodes have shared a £1 million prize pot in the People’s Postcode Lottery this week (March 1-7). The biggest win went to players in Ashington, Northumberland, where four winners each received a life-changing £250,000.
One ecstatic winner, Lesley Hogg, expressed her disbelief, stating, “I never thought it would happen that we would win this amount of money. This is everything to us, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.” She and her husband Robin celebrated alongside fellow winners Mick Turner and another couple, Valerie and David.
The winning streak also extended to other Northumberland postcodes and additional winning postcodes in Newcastle and North Yorkshire, each receiving £1,000 prizes. The People’s Postcode Lottery distributes daily prizes, including weekend jackpots of £30,000 and daily £1,000 prizes for multiple postcodes.
