**New Delhi, March 10, 2025** – Delhi experienced an unusually warm Sunday, with the maximum temperature reaching 32.8 degrees Celsius, 4.4 degrees above normal. The minimum temperature was 13.5 degrees Celsius. While the weather is expected to be misty on Monday, with highs of 32 degrees and lows of 15 degrees, the city’s air quality has taken a turn for the worse.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) reached 208 at 6 pm on Sunday, classifying the air quality as “poor.” This is a decline from Saturday’s “moderate” rating. The AQI scale ranges from 0-50 (“good”) to 500 (“severe”). This deterioration in air quality follows a period of relatively cleaner air.
