**Chennai, March 10, 2025** – A 45-year-old construction worker, identified as Srinivasan, died after a fall from a height of 22 feet at a Saligramam construction site on Saturday. Police reported that Srinivasan, who had been working at the site for only 15 days, fell while constructing a temporary shed on the first floor of a building. He sustained a fatal head injury and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. A police investigation is underway.
