**Mumbai, March 10, 2025** – Three Bengaluru-based startups were among seven winners recognized at the 10th annual Indian Innovation Icons awards ceremony, held in Mumbai. The Marico Innovation Foundation celebrated the achievements of these companies, highlighting Bengaluru’s status as a leading center for innovation.
Astrome Technologies, a winner in the Business category, developed India’s first commercial E-band spectrum product, providing crucial wireless infrastructure for telecommunications in underserved areas. Chara Technologies, also in the Business category, created a cost-effective, rare-earth magnet-free motor system for electric vehicles and industrial applications. AssisTech Foundation received recognition in the Social category for its work supporting assistive technology startups and improving the lives of people with disabilities.
