**NANDYALA, Andhra Pradesh – March 9, 2025** – A goods train carrying cement derailed near Gazulapalli railway station in Nandyal district on Sunday afternoon, disrupting rail traffic on the Nandyal-Giddalur section. The train, en route from Nandyal to Guntur, experienced a derailment of several wagons.
Railway authorities immediately diverted express trains to alternate routes and deployed heavy cranes to clear the tracks. Senior officials from Guntakal arrived on-site to oversee the restoration efforts, working to resume normal service as quickly as possible.
