**Visakhapatnam, March 6, 2025** – Visakhapatnam is gearing up for a high-profile visit by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and several other dignitaries. Mr. Naidu is scheduled to arrive late Wednesday night and participate in a book release function at GITAM Deemed-to-be University on Thursday morning. The event will also be attended by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, former Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu, and BJP State president Daggubati Purandeswari.

District Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad conducted a thorough inspection of the arrangements, focusing on sanitation, road cleanliness, and the removal of election-related coverings from statues. He was accompanied by Visakhapatnam MP and GITAM president M. Sribharat. Security arrangements are being overseen by the Visakhapatnam Police, with a review meeting already held by Commissioner Shankhabrata Bagchi. Traffic management plans are also in place.

Ms. Sitharaman will also participate in a separate “Post-Budget Interaction” at Hotel Novotel on Thursday afternoon, organized by the Government of India. The Chief Minister is expected to arrive at the Visakhapatnam airport at approximately 11:45 p.m. and stay overnight at the TDP office before the morning event.
