Wed Mar 05 23:56:00 UTC 2025: ## Tejashwi Yadav Slams Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Champions Youth Power in Patna Rally

**Patna, Bihar, March 6, 2025** – RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav launched a sharp attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during a youth rally in Patna on Wednesday. Yadav, addressing thousands of young people, argued that Bihar needs a younger leader, criticizing Kumar’s age (75) and perceived lack of effectiveness.

The rally, organized by the RJD youth wing, saw Yadav emphasize the state’s large youth population (58%) and their potential to reshape Bihar’s future. He contrasted this with what he described as a “sick” state government under Kumar’s leadership, citing alleged instances of ministerial and administrative incompetence. He also accused Kumar’s deputies of lying in the assembly and referred to the BJP as a party of liars.

Yadav highlighted alarming statistics from a NITI Aayog report, pointing to high youth unemployment and a lack of educational opportunities as key drivers of out-migration. He specifically mentioned the insufficient number of colleges, particularly in rural areas, contributing to the exodus of young Biharis seeking education and employment elsewhere.

The RJD leader directly challenged Kumar’s fitness for office, asserting that the CM had negatively impacted two generations and risked ruining a third if re-elected. He appealed to the youth to support a change in government to secure jobs and opportunities, suggesting that Kumar is merely a puppet controlled by others. The rally culminated in a resounding rejection of Kumar’s leadership from the assembled youth.
