**Madurai, March 5, 2025** – Water levels in the Mullaperiyar and Vaigai dams remain below their maximum permissible levels, according to data released today. The Mullaperiyar dam registered a level of 115.15 feet (maximum 142 feet), with an inflow of 304 cusecs and an outflow of 400 cusecs. The Vaigai dam’s level stood at 60.60 feet (maximum 71 feet), with an inflow of 164 cusecs and an outflow of 272 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 3,042.18 mcft.
