**Hyderabad, India –** Renowned Telugu playback singer Kalpana was admitted to Holistic Hospital in KPHB, Hyderabad, on Tuesday night after losing consciousness. Police reported that her condition is now stable as of Wednesday morning.
Kalpana, who resides in a villa in KPHB, contacted her husband in Chennai earlier Tuesday evening, informing him that she was losing consciousness. Her husband subsequently alerted the colony association, who then contacted the police. Upon arrival, police found Kalpana unconscious and broke into her residence to assist. She was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital. Initially her condition was critical, and she was placed on a ventilator in the critical care unit.
Several fellow singers, including Sunitha, Geeta Madhuri, Sri Krishna, and Karunya, visited the hospital Tuesday night to inquire about Kalpana’s health and offer their support. She is currently receiving treatment.
