**Chennai, March 5, 2025** – A 30-year-old man, identified as Karthik, has been arrested by the All Women Police Station in Saidapet for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl. Police report that Karthik, intoxicated at the time of the incident, forced his way into the girl’s home while she was alone. The girl’s screams alerted neighbours, who intervened, apprehended Karthik, and subsequently handed him over to authorities. He has been charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and remanded to judicial custody.
