**Bengaluru, March 3, 2025** – Union Bank of India significantly boosted the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Hoskote, Karnataka, with a successful outreach camp on Monday. The event, which saw over 500 attendees, sanctioned 351 new loan accounts totaling ₹476 crore.

The camp, inaugurated by Union Bank’s Managing Director and CEO A. Manimekhalai, focused on promoting entrepreneurship and providing access to crucial financial resources. The bank offered collateral-free loans under the ‘Union MSE Support’ scheme and specialized loans for women entrepreneurs through the ‘Union Nari Shakti’ initiative.

Attendees also benefited from information and access to several key government schemes, including Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY), PM Vishwakarma, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, and retail CASA services. Loan sanction letters were distributed to all successful applicants. The initiative underscores Union Bank’s commitment to supporting the growth and development of MSMEs in the region.
