**Los Angeles, CA** – The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards concluded Sunday night at the Shrine Auditorium, celebrating outstanding performances in film and television before the Oscars take center stage next week. Hosted by Kristen Bell, the Netflix-streamed ceremony saw several stand-out performances and wins.

FX’s “Shōgun” dominated the television categories, winning Best Ensemble in a Drama Series alongside individual awards for Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai for their lead performances. The show also took home the award for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series.

“Only Murders in the Building” also enjoyed success, securing the Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series award. Martin Short, however, was absent from the ceremony due to a reported case of COVID-19. Jean Smart took home the Best Female Actor in a Comedy Series award for her performance on “Hacks”.

On the film side, no single project swept the awards. Timothée Chalamet won Best Male Actor in a Leading Role for “A Complete Unknown,” while Demi Moore took home Best Female Actor in a Leading Role for “The Substance.” “Conclave” was named Best Ensemble in a Motion Picture.

The night’s most memorable moment, however, belonged to lifetime achievement recipient Jane Fonda, who delivered a passionate speech urging her fellow actors to lead with empathy. Other notable wins include Colin Farrell for Best Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series (“The Penguin”) and Jessica Gunning for Best Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series (“Baby Reindeer”). Kieran Culkin (“A Real Pain”) and Zoe Saldaña (“Emilia Pérez”) also received supporting actor awards. The full list of winners is available online.
