**THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, March 1, 2025** – The Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) announced on Saturday that it has achieved an operational profit for the second consecutive year following the COVID-19 pandemic. The corporation reported a total turnover of ₹191.79 crore and an operating profit of ₹13.76 crore for the 2023-24 fiscal year. This follows a ₹186.94 crore turnover and ₹12.96 crore operating profit in 2022-23. KTDC Chairman P.K. Sasi attributed this success to a strong recovery after facing cumulative losses of ₹150 crore between 2018-19 and 2021-22 due to various crises including floods, the pandemic, and Cyclone Ockhi.
