**CHENNAI, March 3, 2025** – A car caught fire on Cathedral Road in Teynampet, Chennai, at 5:30 a.m. this morning. The driver, identified as Ravindran of Luz Avenue, Mylapore, escaped unharmed before the fire engulfed the vehicle.
Mylapore police responded to the scene, extinguished the blaze, and removed the completely destroyed car from the road. A preliminary investigation suggests a short circuit in the car battery caused the fire. Police have registered a case to further investigate the incident.
