**New Delhi, March 1, 2024** – The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the commencement of applications for its Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 8. Aspiring nursing officers can apply online until March 17, 2024, through the official AIIMS website.
The recruitment drive offers a salary ranging from ₹9,300 to ₹34,800, plus a Grade Pay of ₹4,600, under Group B positions across various AIIMS institutes nationwide. Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old, with age relaxations applicable as per AIIMS recruitment rules.
Eligibility criteria require candidates to possess one of the following qualifications: BSc (Hons) Nursing/BSc Nursing, BSc (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic BSc Nursing, or a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery, all from recognized institutions. Registration as a Nurse and Midwife with the State or Indian Nursing Council is also mandatory. Candidates with two years of experience in a 50+ bed hospital after completing their qualifications may also apply.
