VISAKHAPATNAM, March 1, 2025 – G.P. Raja Sekhar, a senior mathematics professor from IIT Kharagpur, assumed the post of Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University on Saturday. Succeeding Prof. Sashibhushan Rao, who served as in-charge VC since July 2024, Prof. Sekhar outlined his priorities as academic and global excellence for the university.
