In his televised address on Friday, Zelensky emphasized that Europe possesses the capacity and responsibility to do more to end the ongoing conflict with Russia. He expressed optimism about achieving a resolution, citing the existence of clear proposals from Ukraine and its European partners. Zelensky stressed the importance of a collaborative European strategy, involving the United States.

While acknowledging ongoing negotiations with the United States regarding access to Ukraine’s mineral deposits, Zelensky expressed hope for a fair outcome. He emphasized the potential for this agreement to strengthen US-Ukraine relations, but noted the need to finalize details to ensure its efficacy.
