**New Delhi, [Date of Publication]** – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for the December 2024 Union Grant Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET). A total of 114,445 candidates qualified for Ph.D. programs, 48,161 for Assistant Professor positions and Ph.D. admission, and 5,158 for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) posts.

The results are available on the official UGC NET website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates can access their scorecards by logging in using their application number, date of birth, and security pin. Of the 849,166 registered candidates, 649,490 (76.5%) appeared for the exam, which was held from January 3rd to 27th across 558 centers in 266 cities.
