Sat Feb 22 11:59:55 UTC 2025: ## Amit Shah, D.K. Shivakumar to Attend Isha Yoga Center’s Mahashivratri Celebrations

**COIMBATORE, February 22, 2025** – Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar will be among the attendees at the Isha Yoga Center’s Mahashivratri celebrations in Coimbatore on February 26th. The event, taking place in front of the Adiyogi statue, will run from 6 p.m. on February 26th to 6 a.m. on February 27th.

According to Swami Paaraga, regional coordinator of the Isha Foundation, ample arrangements for parking, water, restrooms, and medical assistance have been made. Entry is free, with online registration available through the Isha Mahashivratri website, or walk-ins welcome. A “Maha Annadanam” (mass feeding) will provide free food to thousands of devotees.

The event will be broadcast live across India in 22 languages, with over 100 locations providing screenings, including 50 in Tamil Nadu and 25 in Kerala. Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev will also launch a free meditation app, “Miracle of the Mind,” during the celebrations.
