**Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra –** Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Saturday issued a strong call for action against illegal immigration, alleging interference in India’s electoral process. Speaking at the 65th convocation ceremony of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Dhankhar stated that crores of people without the right to live in India are residing here, impacting resources and now, he claims, the electoral system.
He drew a parallel to recent US deportations of illegal immigrants, questioning when India would initiate a similar process. Dhankhar urged citizens to become vigilant about this issue, advocating for a nationwide awareness campaign. He further alleged that some countries had recently deported Indian nationals who were taken there through deception.
The Vice President also raised concerns about religious conversions, suggesting they are being used to alter India’s demographics and gain supremacy. He cited alleged USAID funding aimed at manipulating Indian elections, calling for a thorough investigation into such attempts to undermine democracy.
Dhankhar highlighted India’s rapid economic growth and infrastructural development over the past decade, emphasizing the nation’s potential for continued progress. He stressed the importance of nationalism and a commitment to achieving an eight-fold increase in per capita income to become a developed nation. He concluded by emphasizing the need for social harmony to achieve social transformation.
