**Hyderabad, February 20, 2025** – Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has intervened to provide vital medical assistance and support to Rakesh, a 1st-year intermediate student from Rangayyapalli village suffering from Pseudo Muscular Dystrophy. Rakesh, unable to walk due to the severity of his condition, was previously unable to afford the expensive treatment recommended by doctors.

Moved by Rakesh’s plight, Chief Minister Reddy ordered immediate provision of the necessary medical care. In addition to the treatment, the government will provide Rakesh with an electric charging vehicle to facilitate his commute to college in Mulkanur.

An official from the Chief Minister’s office contacted Rakesh’s family, assuring them of the government’s full support. Rakesh’s parents, Gulla Sammaiah and Lakshmi, expressed immense gratitude for the Chief Minister’s compassion and assistance.
