Thu Feb 20 11:54:50 UTC 2025: ## Telangana Police Seize Nearly 100 Kg of Ganja, Arrest Four Smugglers
**Peddapalli, Telangana, February 20, 2025** – Godavarikhani police in Telangana have arrested four members of an interstate ganja smuggling ring and seized 96.77 kg of ganja worth approximately ₹48.38 lakh. The arrest took place on Wednesday evening during a vehicle check near a coal mine in Peddapalli district. The smugglers, transporting the contraband in two cars from Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh to Maharashtra, were apprehended while passing through Telangana.
The accused, identified as Uday Veer (UP), Raj Sanju (Rajasthan), Keshav, and Somanth (Odisha), were presented at a press conference by Ramagundam Police Commissioner M Srinivasulu on Thursday. Two additional suspects, including the ganja supplier, are still at large. The police investigation is ongoing.
