Thu Feb 20 13:57:58 UTC 2025: ## NIT-Tiruchi’s ‘Pragyan’ Festival Kicks Off

**TIRUCHI, February 20, 2025** – The National Institute of Technology – Tiruchi (NIT-T) launched its annual student festival, ‘Pragyan,’ yesterday. The three-day event, themed “Panoptica: Break the Code,” features a diverse range of activities.

B. Anbuthambi, head of Strategy and Incubation at L&T Edutech, inaugurated the festival in the presence of NIT-T director G. Aghila and other officials. ‘Pragyan’ encompasses seven event clusters – Roborex, Innovix, Pandora’s Box, Pixelette, Manigma, Bytehoc, and Phronesis – covering various technical and management domains, both online and offline.

Highlights include the flagship technical contests ‘Sangam’ and ‘Ingenium,’ robotics exhibits, and guest lectures from prominent figures in the tech and health sectors, such as Maluk Mohammad (co-founder, Twin Health), Shrinath Honnavalli (CEO, Healthy KID), and Aravindan Ramalingam (CTO, FDT Solutions). Workshops led by industry leaders are also scheduled.

The festival also includes a vibrant entertainment lineup, featuring sand and light art, tron dance, shadow art, ventriloquism, performances by the music band Mysore Xpress, and playback singer Antara Mitra. ‘Pragyan’ is expected to conclude on February 23.
