**NEW DELHI** – Rekha Gupta was sworn in as Delhi’s new Chief Minister today at a ceremony in Ramlila Maidan, marking her as the fourth woman to hold the office. The ceremony, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries, also saw six ministers take their oaths, including Parvesh Verma. However, the unusual quiet surrounding Verma’s residence this morning has sparked speculation.

Verma, who defeated Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi constituency, was considered a frontrunner for the Chief Minister’s post before the BJP ultimately chose Gupta. Reports indicate that Verma’s home was unusually quiet this morning, with no visible activity, and attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful.
