**Mumbai, February 20, 2025** – Mumbai police are investigating bomb threats targeting Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Emails threatening to blow up Mr. Shinde’s car were received Thursday morning at Goregaon and J.J. Marg police stations. Authorities are currently tracking the sender’s IP address and pursuing all leads in the ongoing investigation. A senior police official previously confirmed that a threat call had also been received.
