**Jabalpur, [Date]:** The Jabalpur High Court has granted interim relief to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates appearing for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination 2025. A division bench comprising Chief Justice Suresh Kumar Kait and Justice Vivek Jain ordered a five-year age relaxation for EWS candidates.
The court directed the UPSC to accept applications from the petitioners and other similarly situated EWS candidates. Furthermore, the court has prohibited the UPSC from declaring the results of these candidates without prior permission. The matter will be heard again on Tuesday.
