**NEW DELHI** – Popular YouTube personality Ranveer Allahbadia, known as “BeerBiceps Guy,” is seeking Supreme Court intervention to consolidate multiple FIRs filed against him across India. The FIRs stem from controversial remarks he made on the stand-up comedy show “India’s Got Latent.”
Allahbadia, who also faces investigation by the National Commission for Women (NCW) and a potential summons from a parliamentary panel, filed a plea last week requesting the Supreme Court to club the FIRs for easier legal representation and to grant him anticipatory bail. While the court declined his request for an urgent hearing, it is expected to consider the plea on Tuesday.
The influencer, who boasts a large social media following and a popular YouTube podcast, has been summoned by both Mumbai Police and the NCW. He missed a scheduled appearance before the NCW on Monday, citing death threats against himself and his family, including an alleged intrusion at his mother’s medical clinic. He has been summoned again for March 6th.
Despite expressing fear over the threats, Allahbadia maintains he will not retract his statements and has expressed confidence in India’s police and judicial system. The Supreme Court’s decision on Tuesday will be closely watched as it could significantly impact the multiple legal proceedings against him.
