**Mumbai, India** – The Indian Premier League (IPL) has unveiled the schedule for the 2025 season, with the tournament kicking off on March 22nd. Rajasthan Royals, winners of the inaugural IPL in 2008, will begin their campaign the following day, March 23rd, against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
The Royals’ first two home games will be played at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati. They will face Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26th and Chennai Super Kings on March 30th. Subsequent home matches will be played at their traditional home ground, the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Each team will play 14 league matches – seven home and seven away. The playoffs will see the top two teams facing off in Qualifier 1 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on May 20th. The Eliminator, featuring the third and fourth-placed teams, will follow on May 21st at the same venue. The IPL 2025 final is scheduled for May 25th at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Rajasthan Royals, boasting a strong young squad including Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag, and Vaibhav Suryavanshi, alongside captain Sanju Samson, will be aiming for another strong season after reaching the playoffs in 2024.
