**Hyderabad, India** – The highly anticipated schedule for the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been released. The tournament will commence on March 22nd and run for 65 days, culminating in a final match at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens on May 25th. A total of 74 matches will be played across 12 venues.

The league stage concludes on May 18th, followed by playoffs from May 20th to 25th. Eden Gardens will also host the Qualifier 2. The opening match will see defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders face Royal Challengers Bangalore.

This year’s IPL will feature matches in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Mullanpur, Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Guwahati, and Dharamshala. Rajasthan Royals have chosen Guwahati as a second home ground, hosting two matches there on March 26th and 30th. Punjab Kings will play three home matches in Dharamshala and the remaining at Mullanpur.
