**PROVIDENCE, RI –** UConn women’s basketball star Paige Bueckers continued her ascent up the Huskies’ all-time scoring list on Sunday, surpassing both Rebecca Lobo and Kara Wolters in a victory against South Carolina. With a 3-pointer early in the game, Bueckers passed Lobo to claim the No. 11 spot, before ultimately finishing the game with 12 points, enough to move her into the No. 10 position.

The milestone was made even more special as Lobo herself was providing color commentary for the ABC broadcast. “Congratulations to Paige Bueckers,” Lobo said during the game. “That is impressive.”

Bueckers now boasts 2,143 career points, surpassing Lobo’s 2,133 and Wolters’ 2,141. She’s quickly closing in on Diana Taurasi (2,156 points) and Kerry Bascom (2,177 points) as she continues her stellar career. The two-time Big East Player of the Year is averaging an impressive 18.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.5 assists this season.
