VISAKHAPATNAM, INDIA (February 16, 2025) – Cricket fans in Visakhapatnam are celebrating the news that the city will once again host two Delhi Capitals (DC) matches in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. The matches, scheduled for March 24th and 30th, will see the DC face off against the Lucknow Super Giants and Sun Risers Hyderabad, respectively.

The March 24th match against LSG will be a day-night affair, starting at 7:30 PM, while the match against SRH on March 30th will begin at 3:30 PM. This marks the second consecutive year Visakhapatnam has served as a home ground for the DC, following a successful run last season.

The Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) actively pursued securing the matches, undertaking significant stadium renovations and upgrades to meet IPL standards. Their efforts paid off, generating excitement among local residents who are already discussing ticket sales and reminiscing about past IPL matches in the city.
