**Hyderabad, [Date]:** Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party leaders are gearing up for large-scale celebrations across Telangana to mark the 71st birthday of their president and former Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), on Monday.
Celebrations are planned for all districts, constituencies, and mandals. In Hyderabad, the party headquarters, Telangana Bhavan, will host a major event, according to senior TRS leader and former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav. Yadav inspected the preparations on Sunday, which include KCR’s life-size portraits, flex banners, and pink decorations. A photo exhibition showcasing KCR’s contributions from the Telangana movement to his ten years as Chief Minister is also planned.
The celebrations at Telangana Bhavan will feature cultural performances, including traditional dances and a documentary on KCR’s life and political career. A 71 kg cake will be cut to mark the occasion. Party working president K.T. Rama Rao, former minister Harish Rao, MLC Kavitha, and numerous other party leaders, supporters, and activists are expected to attend.
Statewide, the celebrations will include tree planting drives, fruit distribution, community meals (Annadanam), special prayers, and pujas.
