Sun Feb 16 04:52:53 UTC 2025: ## CBSE Board Exams Begin in Chennai: Students Find Papers Easy

**Chennai, February 15, 2025** – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 board examinations commenced today across Chennai, with students largely finding the question papers straightforward. Class 10 students sat for the English exam, while Class 12 students took the Entrepreneurship exam.

While many students described the papers as “easy” and “as expected,” some Class 10 students noted the English paper was lengthy, leaving insufficient time for review. Despite this, overall feedback from students and school officials was positive. Nethra Balaji, a Class 12 student, even found the Entrepreneurship paper easier than her school’s preparatory exams.

A. Lakshmi Prabha, senior principal of Prasan Vidya Mandir, confirmed that all question papers for both classes were deemed easy. The earlier start date for the exams this year, a week ahead of schedule, allowed for more ample preparation time, according to teachers. N. Vijayan, correspondent of Zion Matriculation Higher Secondary School, highlighted the school’s proactive approach, conducting three pre-board examinations well in advance. This early commencement also offers students more time to prepare for competitive exams, and will lead to earlier result announcements. The majority of Class 12 students will begin their exams on February 21st with physics.
