**London, UK** – Lalit Modi, the founder and former chairman of the Indian Premier League (IPL), announced his new relationship on Valentine’s Day via an Instagram post. The 61-year-old revealed he is dating Rima Bouri, a Lebanese independent marketing consultant, describing their relationship as a blossoming romance stemming from a 25-year friendship.

Modi shared several pictures of himself with Bouri on Instagram, captioning the post, “Lucky Once – Yes. But I got lucky TWICE. When a 25-year friendship turns to LOVE. It happened twice. Hope it does for you all too. #happyvalentinesday to you all.” Bouri responded to the post with “Love you more,” to which Modi replied, “My forever love.”

Bouri’s LinkedIn profile indicates a background in marketing, with education at Brillantmont International School in Lausanne, Switzerland, and Richmond, The American International University in London. She is fluent in English, French, and Portuguese.

This is not Modi’s first public relationship since the death of his wife, Minal Sagrani, in 2018. In 2022, he announced a relationship with Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen, clarifying at the time that they were “just dating.” Modi has lived in London since 2010, following investigations into tax evasion and money laundering in India, which resulted in a lifetime ban from the Indian cricket board in 2013.
