Thu Feb 13 08:20:00 UTC 2025: **Toyota Recalls Over 140,000 Vehicles for Brake and Seatbelt Issues**

**DETROIT –** Toyota is recalling more than 140,000 Tacoma, Camry, and Lexus RX vehicles due to potential safety defects, the company announced Thursday. The recall affects specific models of the Tacoma 4-wheel drive trucks, Camry sedans, and Lexus RX SUVs.

For the Tacoma trucks, the issue involves potential damage to the rear brake hoses caused by mud and dirt buildup within the rear wheels. In Camry and Lexus RX vehicles, the problem centers on potentially damaged second-row center seatbelts that may have been faulty from the manufacturing process.

Toyota will notify affected owners by April 2025, and all necessary repairs will be conducted free of charge. Consumers can check the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) database using their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to determine if their vehicle is included in the recall.
