**CHENNAI, February 12, 2025** – The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule for the warm-up matches leading up to the Champions Trophy 2025, set to begin February 19th. The warm-up fixtures will take place from February 14th to 17th, featuring several key teams.

Pakistan will field three separate squads, named “Shaheens,” in these matches. Shadab Khan will captain one team against Afghanistan in Lahore on February 14th. On February 17th, two further Shaheens teams will play; Mohammad Hurraira’s team will face South Africa in Karachi, while Mohammad Haris’s team will take on Bangladesh in Dubai. Additionally, New Zealand and Afghanistan will clash in a warm-up match in Karachi on February 16th. All warm-up matches will be day-night encounters.
