**Doha, Qatar –** The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) announced today the return of its Sports Science Congress, after a six-year break. The 17th edition will be held May 15-16, 2025, at Aspetar, a leading sports medicine hospital in Doha.
The congress will bring together leading experts in sports science, medicine, and coaching to explore the latest advancements in table tennis. Topics will range from injury prevention and treatment to biomechanics, nutrition, and mental performance, encompassing all aspects of player health and development, including para table tennis and youth programs. Discussions will also cover travel medicine, anti-doping, and the increasingly important areas of sustainability, gender equality, and diversity.
The event offers a unique opportunity for professionals to network, share knowledge, and shape the future of table tennis performance. Following the Congress, attendees can attend the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals, also in Doha, from May 17-25.
