**KARIMNAGAR, February 12, 2025** – A workshop focused on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship kicked off a series of events at the ongoing Swadeshi Mela in Karimnagar. Held at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar stadium, the mela, which runs until February 16th, showcases a wide array of indigenous products and handicrafts.
Over 200 stalls are displaying handlooms, handicrafts, and other locally made goods. The event also includes awareness sessions on government subsidies designed to boost domestic manufacturing. Wednesday saw a steady flow of visitors to the mela, which aims to promote both local products and the spirit of innovation among students. A workshop specifically targeting polytechnic and engineering students focused on cultivating entrepreneurial skills.
