**Vijayawada, February 12, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh’s School Education Director, V. Vijay Rama Raju, has called for a collaborative effort to transform the state’s education system into a national model. Speaking at a two-day awareness conference for district-level education officials, Mr. Rama Raju emphasized the importance of teamwork and efficient use of allocated funds to improve student outcomes. He highlighted the need for well-structured lesson plans and assured that teacher promotions would be conducted transparently online.

The conference, organized by Samagra Shiksha, focused on improving learning outcomes, particularly at the foundational level. State Project Director B. Srinivasa Rao urged Additional Project Coordinators (APCs) to cultivate leadership and effective program implementation. Discussions covered various initiatives including KGBVs (Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas), Bhavita Centers, and the Midday Meal Scheme, along with addressing common district-level challenges. Special attention was paid to the well-being of the one lakh girls enrolled in KGBVs, with officials urged to prioritize their health, safety, and access to quality education.
