**Bengaluru, February 9, 2025** – The United States will make a significant showing at Aero India 2025, displaying a range of advanced aircraft including the F-35 fifth-generation fighter jet, the KC-135 Stratotanker, the B-1 bomber, and the F-16 fighter. This marks the 15th consecutive year of US participation in Asia’s largest airshow, held this year from February 10-14.
Over two dozen American exhibitors will be present, showcasing advancements in unmanned aerial systems (UAS), fighter aircraft, avionics, and defense electronics. A high-level delegation, led by U.S. Embassy New Delhi Chargé d’ Affaires Jorgan Andrews, will include representatives from the Departments of State, Defence, and Commerce.
The increased US presence reflects the deepening defense ties between the US and India, strengthened through technology sharing, expanded trade, and cooperation in maritime security, cybersecurity, and counter-terrorism. General Kevin Schneider, Commander, U.S. Pacific Air Forces, highlighted Aero India 2025 as a key opportunity to enhance interoperability between the two nations.
Adding to the event’s entertainment, the U.S. Air Force Band of the Pacific’s ensemble, “Final Approach,” will perform at Aero India 2025 and at a separate concert.
