He also announced a significant philanthropic contribution of ₹10,000 crore (approximately $1.2 billion USD). This substantial donation, earmarked for various social causes, is expected to primarily fund large-scale infrastructure projects focusing on healthcare, education, and skill development.
The wedding also marked the launch of a unique initiative by the newlyweds. Jeet and Diva pledged to contribute ₹10 lakh (approximately $12,000 USD) each to fund the weddings of 500 women with disabilities annually. This commitment was highlighted by Jeet’s pre-wedding meeting with 21 newlywed women with disabilities and their husbands.
Jeet Adani, who joined the Adani Group in 2019 after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, currently leads the Adani Airports business and Adani Digital Labs.
